PHILIPPE GELINAS TICKET FUND
CELEBRATING A LIFE IN MUSIC

Elaine Smith - Chair
Committee: Terry Tennes, Ann Wheat, Carole Kohn-ex officio

The sixth annual CAMTA ticket fund has been created with donations made in the name of our beloved past president, Philippe Gelinas. As the founder of CAMTA's program to obtain discounted tickets for the piano series, Phil believed that the future of concerts depends on youthful attendance now.

All CAMTA teachers may select a total of two students from their studio to attend free of charge the concert of
Radu Lupu on Sunday, January 31, 2010, Symphony Center.
The program will include Janacek In the Mists,
Beethoven Sonata in F Minor (Appassionata),
Schubert Sonata in B-flat Major, D. 960.

Phil had a special ability to teach a very wide variety of students. You may choose a student because he or she has never been to a concert, has worked especially hard, is interested in majoring in music, or for any reason you think is worthy. The teacher should ask the student/parent prior to selection and they need to commit to go. The age limit is eight years old through high school.

In order to prolong the program free tickets to parents will be given only under special circumstances. Contact Terry Tennes with these requests. Otherwise, parent and extra tickets are available for $15 each.

Applications must be postmarked by Thursday, December 10.
Please send the application form with a SASE made payable to CAMTA and send to
Terry Tennes
508 Madison Unit 1S
Oak Park, IL 60302.
